On Wendell Castle in Popular Woodworking Magazine

Longtime readers and listeners know my love of Wendell Castle's work. I consider myself amazing lucky to have been able to view many of his pieces in person and to have briefly chatted with him during his exhibit at the Museum of Art and Design in NYC last winter.

From the Popular Woodworking Magazine Blog: Early stacked piece. This early armchair from 1967 is made of solid oak stacked and laminated in what would become a common Castle technique.

For anyone not familiar with his work, or for those who are fans (I know, there's no one left), this blog post and video from Popular Woodworking are a wonderful primer on Castle and his work.
